Position Objectives:
The Stark County Board of Commissioners is seeking an individual to be appointed to serve on the Stark County Weed Control Board who resides in District 6.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Attend meetings, review correspondence, discuss weed control within Stark County and vote on action items.
Minimum Requirements:
Must reside in District #6 which is located in the Southeast part of the county, bordering Hettinger County to the south and Grant and Morton County to the east. District #6 includes T137N - R91W-R93W; T138N - R91W-R93W.
Desirable Training and Experience:
Knowledge with cost share and North Dakota noxious weeds is preferred.
Benefits:
- Meeting per diem of $65 plus mileage for attending meetings.
- Provide input on weed control policy in Stark County.
- Represent the needs of District #6 residents.
